Wow. It's been well over a month since I last updated this blog. Christmas is a crazy time of year around here, and I'm sure around your home as well. It's a good crazy though. All the hustle and bustle of baking, card making, gift buying, gift making, gift wrapping.....ugh, I get tired just thinking about it!
I didn't do much (if anything) CTMH related in December. Like I said, December was a busy month, not just because of the holiday but because it was also the end of my semester in school and I was struggling with one of my classes so I really had to be diligent and put school first. But now I have off of school until the 11th of January and I am enjoying it, immensely! I really needed the break to recharge. I'm sure many of you can relate. That said I have a few projects that I did for Christmas that I want to share and I will be sharing with you my ideas and scheduled events for the near future.
This first photo is of the Christmas cards that I had sent out to friends and family this year. I used the Adorable Wreath stamp set with Cranberry and New England Ivy inks. I think they turned out great.
The second photo is the school gifts that I made for my daughter's preschool class. We gifted each child a paper pad, holiday pencil, a pack of gum, and a mini Kit Kat. I used the Art Philosophy cartridge to cut out the french fry holder and I used the Believe paper pack and card stock for papers. There was no stamping done, everything was handwritten.
I love how the card turned out. I did these just a few days before Christmas, hence the simplicity of it. But sometimes less is best, right?
With the gift pads, I wish I would have papered the cover of the pad but again, I was rushed for time. Either way I'm sure the kids will have fun practicing their names, letters, and numbers in them. But what was I thinking, gum? For four year olds? I hope the parents didn't have to cut it out of hair or carpets....
These are some of the ideas I've been stirring around in my head, dates have yet to be scheduled:
JANUARY:
Birthday Bonanza, make 12 birthday cards for $10, (each additional card $1 a piece, no limit), that will cover birthdays for both sex's, children, teens, seniors, teachers, everyone that you can think of that you'll need a birthday card for.

FEBRUARY:
